Scientic Parts With Drummer
Danish/Swedish prog metal band Scientic has issued the following announcement about splitting with the band's drummer:
"We're sad to announce that we have parted ways with our drummer, René Laursen. This obviously wasn't an easy decision for any of us. However due to irreconcilable differences, we came after much deliberation to the decision that we cannot continue in such an uncertain state and all agreed that the best thing for the future of the band is to find a new drummer for Scientic.
"We are truly thankful for all of René's contributions to the band, and we are really proud of our debut album that we made together. We still remain friends and we wish him the best of luck and success in the future.
"We are all looking forward to the future and taking the necessary steps to find the best fit person to join Scientic. We are right now in the middle of the recording process of our second album and we're looking for an ambitious, serious and highly skilled drummer.
"If you have what it takes, then send us a video of you playing two songs by Scientic or another progressive metal band. Danish and/or Scandinavian drummers are preferable but not a requirement. Send your application to scienticmusic@live.com."
