Black Therapy Announces Lineup Change
Following the recent addition of new guitar player Andrea Mataloni, Black Therapy now announces another change within the group's lineup.
Bass player Alessandro Finocchiaro is departing, while founding member and long-time guitarist Lorenzo Carlini is taking over the bass while the band welcomes another new guitarist: Davide Celletti.
The band states: “We want to thank Alessandro for all the great time spent together, it's been awesome to share this journey with him. Davide already helped us out during our show in Bologna, proving himself to be a great addiction to the lineup. Black Therapy Recruits New Guitarist
With a heavy heart, Black Therapy announces the departure of guitarist Daniele Rizzo, who co-founded the band together with Lorenzo Carlini. The band states: “’In The Embrace Of Sorrow, I Smile’ would be a very different album without his contribution and we'll be forever grateful to him for all the time spent together.”
Now Black Therapy welcomes new member Andrea Mataloni: “Please welcome Andrea Mataloni as the new guitar player of Black Therapy. He's been a long-time friend of our vocalist Giuseppe and it feels great to have him on board. Black Therapy Streams New Song "Stabbed"
For all people that way too often feel deep grief and seek desperately for a way out, Black Therapy’s second full-length album delivers the perfect credo: "In The Embrace Of Sorrow, I Smile." Check out the new track "Stabbed" in the player below.
Besides the self-released EP "Through This Path," the debut-album "Symptoms Of A Common Sickness" and numerous live-shows (alongside bands like Nile, Ex Deo, Dark Lunacy, Arch Enemy, Novembre) the EP "The Final Outcome" in 2014 attracted a lot of attention outside of Italy. In 16th Cellar Studio (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance, Hideous Divinity) arose the new musical sign of life, which comes even closer to the true vision of the Italian melodic death metal five-piece.
On December 2nd, “In The Embrace Of Sorrow, I Smile” will be released via Apostasy Records and provides an insight into the foolishness of existence.

Black Therapy Signs With Apostasy
Rome - a town full of history and also the birthplace of melodic death metal act Black Therapy. The band is pleased to announce today an official signing with Apostasy Records, with the label commenting:

Black Therapy Posts "The Final Outcome" Clip
Black Therapy just released a new lyric video for "The Final Outcome," which can be seen below thanks to No Clean Signing.

Black Therapy To Record New EP
Melodic death metal band Black Therapy is working on a new EP, following the debut album "Symptoms of a Common Sickness" released last year.
The band features vocalist Giuseppe Di Giorgio (Eyeconoclast) and will enter Stefano Morabito's 16th Cellar Studio (Eyeconoclast, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance) in September to record the EP, entitled "The Final Outcome."
The release is set for the second half of October via Revalve Records. Artwork and a finalized track listing will soon be unveiled. In the mean time, check out a music video taken off the band's previous album below. More...
