Mystic Prophecy Issues Stratovarius Tour Update
German metal band MYSTIC PROPHECY mainman R.D. Liapakis has issued an update from their tour with STRATOVARIUS from Paris. The tour update is as follows:
“As it turns out the chemistry between STRATOVARIUS and MYSTIC PROPHECY is great. Every night is a great party with lots of fans coming into the shows. More the 1000 people came in to our show in Paris giving us the most energizing feedback any artist can hope for. It definitely is a great tour so far and we can’t wait for the rest of the dates. So see you soon in a town near you. Until then stay heavy!”
Crystal Viper Members Form New Band Born Again
Ex-Stormwitch, Mystic Prophecy, Majesty, and Crystal Viper members have joined together to form a new band titled Born Again. The band has issued the following statement about recording a new single:
"The brand new female fronted international Power Metal act named Born Again, has just recorded its debut single titled 'Neverending Fire' which will be released in early 2010. Songs were produced by Bart Gabriel (Crystal Viper, Lonewolf), and recorded at the MP Studio with Mariusz Pietka (Crystal Viper, Pathfinder). The same team is already working on the debut full length album of Born Again, scheduled for 2010."
Born Again features the following members:
Marta Gabriel - Lead and backing vocals, keyboards
Martin Albrecht - Bass guitar and backing vocals
Björn Daigger - Guitars and backing vocals
Tom "Golem" Danczak - Drums

Mystic Prophecy Issues Band Update
Mystic Prophecy has issued the following band update:

Mystic Prophecy Announces New Album Release Shows
Mystic Prophecy have announced that their upcoming album "Fireangel" will be released on May 20th via Massacre records. The band has issued issued the following statement about three release shows:
"Official "FIREANGEL" release parties! Come and celebrate the release of our meanwhile sixth album "FIREANGEL"! We're looking forward to see YOU!!! And for all those who can't wait to hear the stuff, we are featured on the latest Metal Hammer "Maximum Metal Sampler" Vol. 139 with the song "DEMONS CROWN"!"

Mystic Prophecy Reveals New Album Details
German/Greek metallers MYSTIC PROPHECY - who were recently joined by new guitarist Constantine (DESCENDING, ex-NIGHTRAGE) - will be releasing their new album, Fireangel, on May 20th via Massacre Records.
Suicidal Angels Enters The Studio
Greek thrash metallers, Suicidal Angels, issues the following update revealing details on their upcoming album:
"As it is now confirmed, we can announce that everything's set for the recording of the second Suicidal Angels album! Recordings will be held at 'Prophecy and Music Factory Studios' in Germany, under the direction of producer R.D. Liapakis, who, as many might know, is an accomplished fellow Greek musician and recording engineer, lead singer of the heavy metal group Mystic Prophecy." More...
Descending Guitarist Joins Mystic Prophecy
Constantine (DESCENDING) has joined German power metal band MYSTIC PROPHECY and posted the following message:
"Hello Mystic fans! I'm very proud and happy to announce you that from now on I am a permanent member of the legendary German Power Metal Band Mystic Prophecy! I feel very excited about it and it would be amazing to be in the band again with these super cool guys! I've played with them for one show last June in Essen and I realised how good chemistry we have together as musicians both behind and on the stage and personalities as well.
For those that haven't heard anything about me yet, I can probably tell you that I'm also the main lead & rhythm guitarist behind the modern death/thrash metal band DESCENDING from my homecountry, Greece and also ex-NIGHTRAGE member.

Apocalyptica Confirmed For Metalcamp 2008
The 2008 edition of Slovenia's Metalcamp festival (www.metalcamp.com) is scheduled to take place July 3rd - 9th in Tolmin.
The latest act confirmed is APOCALYPTICA.
Acts confirmed for the festival currently include: APOCALYPTICA, BEHEMOTH, BRAINSTORM, CATAMENIA, CELTIC FROST, DARK FORTRESS, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, HELLOWEEN, KATAKLYSM, MINISTRY, MYSTIC PROPHECY, PERSIHING MANKIND, RAGE, SKYFORGER, TANKARD, WINTERSUN.

The Bang Your Head festival is a 2 day music festival that takes place in Balingen, Germany. The festival has been in exisistance since 1996.
Mystic Prophecy Recruit Former Primal Fear Drummer
Mystic Prophecy have recruited former Primal Fear drummer Klaus Sperling to replace the departed Dennis Eckdahl. The band also announce that guitarist Markus Pohl (Symphorce), who played the last live shows beside guitarist Gus G. (Firewind), has become a member of the band as well. A posting on their official website reads: "Both members are crazy about playing the upcoming shows in April/May with Freedom Call. The whole band is also engaged in writing new songs for the next album which will be released in March 2006."

Mystic Prophecy Release Party & Acoustic Show
Mystic Prophecy will celebrate the release of their new album "Never-Ending" (due on October 25th) with a big party plus acoustic gig in Athens, Greece. The event shall take place on October 23rd in Athens' Texas Club.
