Blacklands Posts New Music Video

Progressive rockers Blacklands, featuring Ex-Heavenward drummer Thomas Kelleners (Ex-Lucifer's Heritage - the original inception of Blind Guardian), posted a new music video for the track "Dance of the Witches." The song appears on the debut LP "A New Dawn" (see review over at this location. The album is available digitally through Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Simfy and via Pure Steel Records for the physical release.

Blacklands Posts "A New Dawn" Preview Clip

Progressive rockers Blacklands, featuring Ex-Heavenward drummer Thomas Kelleners (Ex-Lucifer's Heritage - the original inception of Blind Guardian), posted a preview clip from the upcoming debut LP "A New Dawn." The album will be issued digitally through Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Simfy and more on February 1, 2013 with the physical CD released March 9, 2013.

The debut release contains 12 songs with a total playing time of nearly 80 minutes, which features guest appearances by members of Exxplorer, Heir Apparent & Dragonsclaw! The band describes its sound as "a musical whirlwind full of diverse, highly sophisticated compositions which are always led by the stunningly beautiful voice of singer Moja. These songs will unite fans of various musical tastes and even have the potential to storm the charts, but they surely appeal to a worldwide audience. Fans of top metal acts like Nightwish and Iron Maiden, to fans of Pink Floyd and the earlier Marillion will love the music of Blacklands!"

Blacklands To Debut With "A New Dawn" In Spring

Progressive rockers Blacklands, featuring Ex-Heavenward drummer Thomas Kelleners (Ex-Lucifer's Heritage - the original inception of Blind Guardian), will release its debut LP "A New Dawn" in the Spring of 2013. The album will feature special guest performances from Giles Lavery of Dragonsclaw, along with members of Exxplorer and Heir Apparent. Clocking in at 80 minutes, the 12 track opener has the following track listing:
