Woe Of Tyrants Cancels Final Shows Of Tour
Woe Of Tyrants has checked in with the following tour recap and announcement about canceling the remaining shows of the band's current tour:
"Hey everyone out there in comprutah land, last night we wrapped up the Driven to Conquer tour with Jungle Rot and Lightning Swords of Death. As with most tours there were definite ups and some tough downs but the overall feeling for everyone at the end was that it was a great experience with some incredible bands. Unfortunately, a couple of key shows fell through, and there were also some unexpected expenses (van repairs) that we had no way of predicting. This has led all of the bands to decide that it would be best to forego the last 3 shows of the tour and head home.
"We also had headlining shows booked to get us from the west coast back to Ohio, which we of course now cannot be a part of. We despise canceling these dates, and deeply apologize to those affected by the decision but it was ultimately out of our hands. We feel honored to have been a part of such a great package and look forward to making our way back out in the future.
"In the mean time, we're heading home for some much needed 'catch up on the bills' time and we figured that since we're finally going to be not touring for a little while then we can continue working on material for our next record. We'll be playing some regional shows in October with D.R.I, Early Man and Evile. Much love!" More...
Jungle Rot Drummer Departs
Jungle Rot has issued the following statement about their drummer's departure: "Eric found himself in a personal crisis that demanded his utmost attention; therefore he had no choice but to leave the band. Since then, we have been jamming with our good friend Tony Ochoa (SINDROME, SPEED HATE KILL) behind the kit and things are sounding great! Tony is a ridiculously hard hitter and will be joining us on the road for the upcoming U.S. tour!
"In other news: Will be touring the US & Canada in support of the band’s latest album 'What Horrors Await,' via Austria's Napalm Records. Support on this trek will come from: Metal Blade artists: Lightening Swords of Death and Woe of Tyrants"
David Matrise further commented about the upcoming tour: "We are stoked to get back out on the road in the U.S. and Canada! It's been way too long! We expect to see you at the shows! No excuses! For all the fans in areas of the country we are not visiting on this tour, fret not! We will be doing more extensive touring in the spring after the release of our new album."

Denial Fiend Give Recording Update For "They Rise"
DENIAL FIEND, the new project that unites vocalist Kam Lee (Massacre, Death) with bassist Terry Butler (Massacre, Death, Six Feet Under), drummer Curtis Beeson (Nasty Savage), and Sam Williams (Down By Law, Pseudo Heroes) expressed their excitement for the current recording including Mike Browning's (Morbid Angel, Nocternus, After Death) guest vocal spot on the track "Return To The Tombs Of The Cursed Blind Dead" for their latest release "They Rise".
"Mike did a fucking great job, and his signature evil demonic voice just makes the song that much more dark and sinister!" A huge macabre thanks to Mike for his contribution to the album! DENIAL FIEND have been at MANA studios mixing the new album and everything is going mayhem! Brian Elliot is a fucking evil genius behind the board, and is really making our sound complete! Drums are mixed as well as Bass tracks, and we'll be starting with guitars next... then onto the vocals. Everything is fucking blazing and solid and truely captures that raw feel and style that is DENIAL FIEND!"
Additionally DENIAL FIEND are excited to finally get on the road. Recently Kam Lee had some passport problems which hindered their traveling, but now everything has been cleared up and DENIAL FIEND are 100% doing an upcoming tour.
