Southern Arizona stoner rock outfit Powered Wig Machine's 2014 sophomore album, "Supa-Collider," is this week reintroduced to the world one year after its initial release via Battleground Records.
The album now comes raging back to life on 180-gram translucent green vinyl with orange and black splatters, housed in a deluxe gatefold package and bearing the new LP-only track, "Highish Noon," along with a download of the record.

The Southern Arizona stoner rock specialists from Powered Wig Machine will reintroduce their sophomore album, "Supa-Collider," to the public in a deluxe vinyl edition via Battleground Records on February 21st just as the band performs at the Borderland Fuzz Fiesta, an event booked by the members of the band themselves.
Brothers Joey and Wayne Rudell of Powered Wig Machine have produced and organized the inaugural edition of the Borderland Fuzz Fiesta, which is set to take over The Rock in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, February 21st.
The festival includes a plethora of quality acts from across the spectrum of heavy rock, stoner rock, doom, psych, and fuzz. In addition to headliners Fireball Ministry, Wo Fat, Mos Generator and Powered Wig Machine, sets form Goatroper, Skulldron, Asimov, Yeti Ender, Mad Alchemy, Liquid Light Show, Conqueror Worm, Methra and more are confirmed to perform at the all-day event. Battleground Records has confirmed the label's impending ninth release, announcing the deluxe vinyl version of the gnarly "Supa-Collider," the second full-length from fuzz/stoner rock champs, Powered Wig Machine.
One year after its initial release, Battleground Records will issue "Supa-Collider" on high-quality wax, the record pressed on 180-gram translucent green vinyl with orange and black splatters, limited to 300 copies and housed in a deluxe gatefold package.
In addition to the original seven tracks, this new edition will also include a new LP-only bonus track, "Highish Noon," with all eight tunes available for free high-quality digital download included in the parcel.
Additional tour and recording plans for Powered Wig Machine will be announced in the coming weeks, as the band begins to record a third LP. The "Supa-Collider" track listing is:

As the first annual Tuscon-based Southwest Terror Fest metal gathering approaches, confirmed to deafen concertgoers for two full days this October, this week several updates to the lineup have been confirmed. As -16- canceled the band's performance due to other touring options during that time, Bereft has been added instead. Extreme music fans rejoice, for there’s a brutal new festival coming to U.S. soil this Fall. Today, details on the debut of the Southwest Terror Fest have been disclosed to the public, the first installment of the now annual meeting of intense acts confirmed to invade Tucson, Arizona in October.
