German power metal band Evertale has been announced to perform at this year's edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise. This brings the total of confirmed bands to fifty three, with only seven more to be revealed. Norwegian progressive metal group Triosphere has been announced as the latest bans to perform at this year's edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise. This brings the total number of bands to 51, with only nine more to be announced. The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal event has announced a further two bands to perform on this year's cruise. Joining the fray will be legendary German thrash trio Destruction and Boston based symphonic death metal outfit, Seven Spires. This brings the list of confirmed bands up to fifty, with only ten more groups to be announced. Witherfall, the progressive power metal group featuring former White Wizzard members Jake Dreyer (also of Iced Earth) and Joseph Michael, are the latest band to be confirmed this year's edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise. Their debut album, "Nocturnes And Requiems" was released through Century Media in February last year. This leaves only thirteen more bands to be announced. Arkona Kicking Off Tour With Sirenia
Napalm Records artists Arkona and Sirenia are ready to kick of their North American tour tomorrow night in New York, NY at Webster Hall. This tour serves as a special 15th anniversary run for Arkona and is also Sirenia's first ever North American tour. A complete list of dates can be found below.
Anton of Arkona on what fans can expect on tour: "For our Anniversary set list we have chosen the songs, which we never played in North America before, from each of 7 albums we released. These songs are very well describing our 15th year path. Also we added 2 new songs from our upcoming album, which we are going to record right after out return from the tour. And of course our well known hits will not be forgotten!"

Arkona, Sirenia Announce North American Tour
Russia's Arkona has teamed up with Norway's Sirenia for a North American tour this May. Direct support will come from Pennsylvania's MindMaze. Additional support will come from Graveshadow (05/23 to 05/27) and Sicosis (05/13 to 05/21; 05/28 to 05/30).
The tour marks the first North American run for Sirenia. Confirmed dates and venues are as follows:

Sirenia Releases "Dim Days Of Dolor" Video
Norwegian symphonic metal act Sirenia issued a video clip for the title track of the new album "Dim Days of Dolor." The album releases today, November 11th, via Napalm Records.
The album is the first to feature new lead vocalist Emmanuelle Zoldan (Trail of Tears, Turisas) – a trained opera singer who has been with Sirenia as a choir singer for over a decade.

Sirenia Reveals New Album Details
Mastermind Morten Veland has just one thing in mind for Sirenia in 2016: pure and utter melancholy. Almost two years after the release of "The Seventh Life Path," this Norwegian is ready to unleash his latest dark vision of gothic and symphonic metal that shuns the light.
"Dim Days of Dolor" is the title of the upcoming album bearing artwork created by Gyula Havancsák. Morten Veland comments:
"It is always a great feeling to have completed a new album. With eight Sirenia albums under the belt some people ask me if it is difficult to keep up the enthusiasm at this point. But that's not problematic at all, I have never been so enthusiastic about any album before. With this album we have reached new heights that seemed out of reach in the past.
"I feel that the countless hours we have put into this album really have paid off in the end. This album is also the most diverse album we've done to date, also the performances has never been better. I can't wait to share this album with all the Sirenia fans and metal heads out there. Sirenia Announces "Dim Days Of Dolor"
Norwegian symphonic metal act Sirenia announced the the upcoming new album will be entitled "Dim Days of Dolor." The album drops on November 11th.
The band revealed the artwork, which was created once again by Gyula Havancsák from Hjules Illustration and Design. All recordings are now completed and the album is currently being mixed at Hansen Studios in Denmark.
Stay tuned for more news, including the announcement of a new singer, which will be made on September 8th. The new Sirenia singer, who replace outgoing vocalist Ailyn, will be announced officially on the 8th of September.

Sirenia Cancels Chinese Shows
Bad news for Chinese fans: Sirenia just nixed all upcoming shows there. The band issued this statement via Facebook:
"We are very sad to inform that the China tour has been cancelled due to problems with attaining working permits. We were looking forward to this tour with great anticipation, so it is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge that it won't happen.
"We hope to be able to come back and make this happen in the future, the sooner the better. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this was due to factors out of Sirenia's control." More...
Melted Space Reveals Guest Musician Lineup
As the album nears release via Laser's Edge this October, the entire track listing and guest musician track-by-track breakdown for Melted Space's "The Great Lie" has now been released.
The new full-length album from the metal opera project created by French composer Pierre le Pape features a wide cast of internationally-revered vocalists and musicians including members of Morbid Angel, Mayhem, Sunn O))), Dark Tranquillity, Orphaned Land, Shining, Ayreon, Sirenia and many more, in addition to the work of The City of Prague Philarmonic Orchestra.

Maximum Rock Adds Four More Bands
Maximum Rock Festival returns this year with a new edition spread across 4 massive days of concerts and various other activities, which shall take place between October 15th - 18th in two different venues - Colectiv Club and Arenele Romane in Bucharest, Romania.
A total of 25 bands will perform at the event inlcuding Epica, Annihilator, Sirenia, Skalmold, Zonaria, Nightrage, Silent Wedding, Kistvaen, Harlott, Archer, Gothic, Hatemode and Crimena.
