Bow Prometheus Involved In Serious Car Accident
Noah "Shark" Robertson, label head from Swimming With Sharks Records, issued this statement on Friday evening about the serious car accident that Bow Prometheus was in last night in Marshall, Texas: "I just received a very serious, very sad phone call from Bow Prometheus. On the way to their show tonight in Marshall, Texas members of Bow Prometheus were in a serious car accident. We don't have many details at the moment...but their merch guy, roadie, friend, and supporter Blake Gassett has passed away. Rusty, lead singer for Bow Prometheus, has sustained serious injuries and is currently in the hospital. Our hearts go out to these guys and we wish and hope for a speedy recovery for Rusty. We love you guys, from the entire Swimming With Sharks Records Family."
Josh Giles from Bow Prometheus has issued this statement: "I found out that my boy Rusty Wayne is recovering quite well and may be out of the hospital in a week or so he is getting physical therapy and should be back up on his feet. Love you man. I would also like to announce that Bow Prometheus will be canceling a few of our shows until Rusty is complete and he is ready to go at it We promise we will do our best for you all. R.I.P Blake Gassett."
We would like to thank everyone for all the love, support, and prayers for our brother Blake gasset and his family. It has been a tragic night, and he will be greatly missed. We will always remember our barbarian brother. Also we appreciate the love and prayers for rusty, he is broke but not broken and even tho he has some injuries to mend he shall be back tearing up stages in the name of The Barbarian in no time!
Bow Prometheus Streaming EP
Dallas symphonic deathcore band Bow Prometheus is streaming its five song EP "Treachery" over on Bandcamp or listen to it in the player below. Bow Prometheus consists of seven members and got its start in Malakoff, Texas in 2011. The EP will be officially released on April 21st on the Texas label Swimming With Sharks Records, which will coincide with its release party at The Hanger in Greenville, Texas.
