Brick Bath Cancel Remaining Tour Dates

BRICK BATH have posted the following message on their official website:

"Hey everybody we figured it was time to let you know what's going on...

Due to being stiffed by more than a few promoters and lack of support from our record label (not to mention the hurricanes and soaring gas prices), the band had no other options then to cancel the rest of our tour dates for the remainder of 2005.

We have been out on the road for three and a half months straight and covered a lot of territory in the US. Many of the shows were great and all our new friends and fans that came out to the shows all over the US were even greater. Thanks so much for your love and continued support. More...

Brick Bath Show Cancelled Due To Power Outage

San Diego, CA-based thrash metal act BRICK BATH have issued the following statement regarding the cancellation of the group's New York City show last weekend:

"BRICK BATH would like to apologize to everyone that showed up to see them at the Brooklyn Music Terminal in Brooklyn, NY last weekend on September 24th. As far as the band and road manager knew, the show was still on until they arrived at the venue for sound check and the venue's power was out with a sign on the door. After speaking to the promoter, the band was advised that the show would be cancelled. A make-up show in December will be announced shortly as the band is currently on a U.S. tour promoting their new CD, 'American Currency', on the Crash Music label".

Brick Bath Auditioning Bass Players

San Diego, CA-based thrash metal act BRICK BATH are currently auditioning bass players. The band want a full-time permanent member to join them for their new CD and U.S./European tour. BRICK BATH has had a fill-in replacement touring with them since original member Pete Stone left the band early last year. Commented the group's management, "We are only looking for someone who wants to be a part of the band and is able to tour a lot. We have had many bass players contact us who sound great and want to join the band, but none of them are able to stay on the road".

BRICK BATH have released two CDs in the U.S., Canada and Europe on Pavement/Crash Music, including "I Wont Live the Lie" and "Rebuilt". They are currently recording the third album, titled "American Currency", which is slated to be released in the U.S. in late July.

Brick Bath Replace Bassist, Recording Third Album

San Diego, CA thrash/groove masters BRICK BATH have recently parted ways with bass player Pete Stone and have recruited Scott (Rock) Rockstead as his permanent replacement. The band wishes Pete the best of luck with all of his future endeavors.

BRICK BATH is currently in the studio recording their third full-length album (tentatively titled American Currency) for the Pavement/Crash Music label. The bands first two albums ( I Won't Live the Lie - 2002, and Rebuilt - 2003) have recently been redistributed through Caroline Distribution. The band is shooting for a release date in early February 2005 for the new CD along with another US tour to follow.
