Aristeia Releases New Single

California outfit Aristeia has released a new single titled "The Malignant Spirit," which was produced by Elitist's Julian Rodriguez at Parallel Focus Studios.

The track can be heard below, and "The Malignant Spirit" is due to appear on an upcoming release from Aristeia later this year.

Wreckfest Lineup Announced

Wreckfest is an all-ages metal & hardcore festival taking place in Southern Oregon at The Provolt Festival Field this July 12th and 13th.

The festival’s main stage will be host to more than twenty bands over the course of the two day event. A “campfire sessions” stage will host half a dozen pop-punk, indie, and alternative acts late Friday night for patrons who have purchased camping passes.

The first lineup announcement has now been made and consists of the following bands:

A Skylit Drive
Destruction of a King
I Declare War
Incredible Me
To Each His Own
Winds of Plague

Aristeia Signs With Rite Of Passage

Rite of Passage Records has issued the following statement about inking a deal with Aristeia for the release of an upcoming album:

"Rite of Passage Records is proud to announce the addition of southern California’s Aristeia to its roster of artists. The band recently recorded a demo of a new track titled 'Lethal Devotion' with Diego Farias of Volumes handling the production/mixing.

"The song also features a guest appearance by Volumes vocalist Gus Farias. You can listen to the track on the band’s Facebook page located here.

"The song will appear on the band’s upcoming Rite of Passage Records debut album, which will be released later this year."
