The follow-up to "The Price of Existence" was recorded once again at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland with producer Zack Ohren.

The "Awaken The Dreamers" track listing is as follows:

1. When Life Meant More...
2. Black Gold Reign
3. Never...Again
4. The Ones We Left Behind
5. Awaken The Dreamers
6. Memories Of A Glass Sanctuary

12. Songs For The Damned

Drummer Matt Kuykendall previously stated about the new album: "We have never been a band to write the same record twice and we have never enjoyed records that are one single and 11 worse versions of the same song. This record is the most diverse thing we have done to date. Every song is different and brings something new to the overall experience of the CD. When you look back to all the classic records of our time, they are full of all kinds of different songs. 'Vulgar Display of Power' just wouldn't be the same without 'This Love' and 'Hollow'. Our record is a breath of fresh air in a scene that is turning stale."

As previously reported, ALL SHALL PERISH will be touring with JOB FOR A COWBOY, HATE ETERNAL, ANIMOSITY and ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY this November/December. Confirmed tour dates so far are as follows: More...

All Shall Perish 1st US Metal Band To Play Siberia

ALL SHALL PERISH recently embarked on an unprecedented 10 day tour of the greater Russia area, which included four shows in Siberia. ALL SHALL PERISH made history by becoming the very first American metal band to ever play shows in Siberia, which included Irkutsch, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, and Omsk. The only other metal groups to ever travel to this part of the world have been SOULFLY (Brazil) and SOILWORK (Sweden). The tour is a follow up ALL SHALL PERISH’s two extremely successful shows in St. Petersburg and Moscow in October of ‘07. ALL SHALL PERISH has been touring extensively in Eastern Europe and recently played one of the biggest shows of their career headlining the Metal Music Mission fest in Simervopol, Ukraine.

Drummer Matt Kuykendall was reached for comments:

“Eastern Europe, Russia and Siberia have shown us love that is unrivaled almost anywhere in the world. It is insane to go to places like Siberia and the Ukraine and hear people chanting your name so passionately and seeing every person in the crowd as hungry for a metal live show as I was at 18 years old.”

ALL SHALL PERISH drummer, Matt Kuykendall, recently checked in from their European tour to offer an update and comment on their upcoming run with JOB FOR A COWBOY, HATE ETERNAL, ANIMOSITY and ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY.

"We can't fucking wait to do this tour! This is a full on death metal onslaught not to be missed. We have known JOB FOR A COWBOY, ANIMOSITY, and HATE ETERNAL for a while and so its going to be a reunion as well. This is Job's last tour on this record and our first US tour on ours so everyone be ready to hear some new tracks and get to see JOB FOR A COWBOY one last time on this disc!

"Our current tour with SWORN ENEMY is going nuts! The fest response has been the biggest of our career and the club shows are packed and fucking crazy. We really did not expect this but it just solidifies our love for Europe. The Acacia Strain Readies Tour, New Album

Massachusetts four-piece, The Acacia Strain, is set to embark on a month-long headlining tour this summer. The SUN YOUR BUNZ tour, which kicks off in Buffalo on May 30th, will run through the end of June, leveling 26 cities along the way. Adding to the onslaught are fellow Massachusetts hardcore veterans, Since the Flood, and Nuclear Blast’s, All Shall Perish, who will be along for the duration of the tour. The Warriors (Victory Records) and Eternal Lord (Ferret Music) round out the lineup as they perform on select dates. SUN YOUR BUNZ will finish up on June 29th in Holyoke, MA, just minutes outside The Acacia Strain’s hometown of Springfield, where the band will have their set filmed for an upcoming DVD. The band will then bring the brutality overseas for a European tour with Annotations of an Autopsy and Knights of the Abyss.

"This is the best time of year to tour,” says The Acacia Strain vocalist, Vincent Bennett. “I couldn't ask for a better group of dudes to spend my time on the road with. Excited to see old friends and meet new ones. It is going to be a killer June. Come on out and SUN YOUR BUNZ!"

The Acacia Strain is also gearing up for the release of their fourth studio album, "Continent," which is due out on August 19th on Prosthetic Records. The band had the opportunity to work with acclaimed producer, Zeuss,(Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, God Forbid) on the release.

"We don't remember when writing a record felt this good,” explains the band’s guitarist, DL. “Continent has something to it that we never really tried before; some uncharted territory, but at the same time still left us room to do what we love doing best. There's a little something for everyone on this one...even that guy."

All Shall Perish Guitarist Posts Studio Update

Rhythm guitarist of All Shall Perish, Ben Orum has issued the following studio update:

"Well, well well.. what do you know? It's an All Shall Perish studio update!

"Great news is finally here, we have been working frantically around the clock with Zach Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios to create what we concider the heaviest, most cutting edge Perish album to date. Listening back on what we have already laid down in the studio, its apparent that we have upped our game again compared to the last CD. The new stuff literally is sending chills down my spine!

"A lot of you guys have been asking for use to upload a track, some pre production, ANYTHING just to hear what direction ASP is going. While it is tempting to share with you what we have created so far, we want you to hear it at 100%. We promise that as soon as we have a completed track, you will find it RIGHT HERE, so keep checking back.

"Last week we finished up all of the drums, rhythm guitars, and bass guitar. This week, we have moved on to vocals and guitar solos. Its incredible how fast the whole process has been going, and it really shows that ASP is becoming a well oilled machine in the studio.

"Stay tuned for some video footage!"

All Shall Perish Comment On "Sun Your Bunz Tour"

Oakland CA’s very own ALL SHALL PERISH will be taking part in this Summer’s Sun Your Bunz tour featuring headliners THE ACACIA STRAIN. Support will come from THE WARRIORS (May 30th – June 14th), ETERNAL LORD (June 14th – 29th) and SINCE THE FLOOD. Drummer, Matt Kuykendall, commented on being in a yet another cramped space with the same sweaty dudes for another month:

"This fucking tour is going to crush! We love the ACACIA STRAIN’s music and the great dudes in the band. THE WARRIORS are added to half the tour as well, so its not only gonna be a mosh nightmare but an awesome time with old friends. We are also going to debut around three new songs so we cant wait! SINCE THE FLOOD has always been awesome hardcore and now with Nate Johnson singing for them they are going to be insane. We get to meet a bunch of Australians in ETERNAL LORD who are pretty much the nicest people on the planet; it’s gonna be a great tour. See you in the pit!" More...

Massachusetts’ THE ACACIA STRAIN are proud to announce a summer 2008 headlining tour across the United States. Dubbed the Sun Your Bunz Tour, and featuring support from All Shall Perish, The Warriors, Eternal Lord and Since The Flood, the tour with cross America from late-May into late-June. A tour admat is also available online here. The run will be in anticipation of THE ACACIA STRAIN’s forthcoming album, "Continent," which is scheduled for release later this year through Prosthetic Records.

Meanwhile, the band has posted a pre-production song entitled “Dr. Doom” from "Continent" on THE ACACIA STRAIN’s MySpace page. All Shall Perish Check In

California-based death metallers ALL SHALL PERISH check in with the following update:

"A lot of people have been writing as well as leaving ridiculous comments on MySpace asking about the new album, so we thought we would be nice guys and drop a little ASP Recording Progress update on that ass. :)

For the past 2 - 3 months, our schedule has consisted of waking up at the crack of dawn, meeting at the practice room and creating music for 12 hours straight. We have probably created enough music and riffs to fill up 2 CDs, but after running it through the famous "ASP Shit Filter" only the best of the material will end up on the new disc. Unlike many bands, ASP have all sacrificed our lives and jobs to put in the quality time needed to make this new disc all that it can be, and trust me, this disc is going to turn some heads.

Our music is always so hard to describe, because we hate putting it in genre sub-categories... that type of labeling just dumbs down music. We have always written from the heart, rather than writing to sell records or to make it big. On a personal level these new tracks are super intense, crazy, melodic at times and are all played with extreme passion from our hearts. On top of that, Chris' solo work on the tracks so far is some of the most incredible stuff we have ever heard. That kid always blows us away with what he is capable of. By the way, have you guys visited http://www.ItsStoreyTime.com yet? GO NOW!

Have no fear loyal fans, the writing of the new CD is close to completed and we promise not to dissapoint. We head into the recording studio this April to record. Expect studio updates, as well as samples of the new material VERY SOON.

See you on the road!!"
