Since the release of "Loss," the nihilistic metal assailants from Seeker have not halted the brakes behind support of “one of the most aggressive albums of the year,” as described by metal pundits Aardschok Magazine.
Following a December headlining tour, Seeker has now unveiled plans for 2017, including U.S. and Canadian tours with The Grindmother and Psycroptic, and a stop at the Modified Ghost Fest in Vancouver.
"We're beyond pumped for our February headliner with The Grindmother, Cognitive, and Wvrm,” states vocalist/bassist Bryce Lucien. “Every band on this tour is absolutely vicious and the shows are going to be ridiculously intense. We're ready to grind our way up the East Coast with this gang and hit some towns that we haven't played in a long time.”
He goes on to say, “Shortly after, we cannot wait to do our first full Canadian tour with our friends in Psycroptic. Joining us on that will be Archspire and Visceral Disgorge, so you know every night will be crushing. 2017 is shaping up to be the best year of touring that we've ever done. We’ve got a few other tricks up our sleeve which we’ll announce very soon. Prepare for impact!” More...
The product of loathe and venom, Seeker just unleashed "Submit," the first performance-based video from new album "Loss." The track features guest vocals from TJ of Wrvth and can be seen below.
“This is one of the most vicious songs that we've ever recorded and was the first song that we wrote for 'Loss,'” explains bassist/vocalist Bryce Lucien. “With the lyrics ‘Bite down hard until teeth splinter, inhale, swallow, repeat,’ we fell the video really captures the lifeblood of the song. A huge thank you to our friend TJ from Wrvth for doing the guest vocals at the end.”

Seeker has returned after three years with new album "Loss" and the Texas trio is now premiering the full album a day ahead of its release.
“I wanted everything about the album to be faster, darker, more evil, more raw, and way more honest that anything I have ever done,” admits vocalist/bassist Bryce Lucien. “This is a new life for Seeker, and this album is a massive step forward for us as players and songwriters. Anyone expecting something like 2013’s Unloved or our other past work will be severely disappointed. We finally let ourselves really go for it and try everything we’d ever wanted to do musically.”
Guitarist Andy Torres adds, "Writing this album was like a long, hard fought battle. We didn't know if it was even going to happen, so finally getting to the release of Loss is a huge deal for me. I'm ready to finally start playing these songs live. We've been practicing constantly for our upcoming tours and things are sounding great, and we can't wait for everyone to hear the album."

The powerful title track track is about "the day that the person who I loved more than anyone died and the mental and emotional aftermath of her suicide,” divulges frontman/bassist Bryce Lucien. "Most of songs on the album are about the events leading up to that. It's why I left the band. That's as much as I'll get into it. I came back into the band because it was the only way I knew how to process through everything that happened.” More...

“Everything about this video is exactly the vision we had for it,” states front-man/guitarist Bryce Lucien. "’Void’ is our favorite song from the album and this is definitely the most excited that we've ever been about one of our music videos. Filming was really intense, and we got to try a lot of things and take a lot of chances that we think made this into something very special."
"Loss" was recorded by Zach Ohren, known for his work with Chelsea Grin and Fallujah, and the artwork comes in the form of a hand drawn, custom piece by Farron Loathing (Nails, Huntress). Lucien continues, “We've spent nearly three years working on this album and can't wait for everyone to hear it. Expect the darkest, fastest, and most chaotic music that we've ever written.” More...
