Strident Splitting With Guitarist

South African power metal act Strident has issued the following announcement about temporarily parting ways with the band's guitarist:

"Announcement time: Our rhythm guitarist and resident sex god, George van der Riet, will be leaving us for a couple of months, to go hone his skills of shredding and sexing in a Tibetan monastery.

"Do not fear, for he will return - in the meantime, a suitably handsome candidate will attempt to fill his handsome boots. We wish him luck, perseverance and stamina on his journey - Hail!"

South African power metal act Strident has posted a new studio track online for streaming. Check out the song "Pro Patria Mori" in the player below. The track was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Jo Ellis at BlooRoom Studios in Ladismith, South Africa. "Pro Patria Mori" was written and orchestrated by Deon van Heerden and Piet Delport.
