Baptism Streaming New Song "Buried With Him"

Finnish black metal outfit Baptism premieres a new song entitled "Buried With Him", taken from the upcoming new album "V: The Devil’s Fire", which will be out in stores 22 July through Season of Mist. Comments frontman Lord S. regarding the song:

"The track ‘Buried With Him’ reveals a part of the spirituality of Baptism, our journey through the trials and conquests of this thing called ‘Life’, which is as much relating to ‘Death’ at the same time.

"Like much of the philosophy behind Baptism, it represents the Gnostic side of Satanism, the one holding the values of our true self. We all are buried along with the Master, the Light-Bringer, who dwells deep within man. This song features my old brother Antti Boman from the legendary Demilich and the lyrics have penned by our longtime spiritual-member Johannes Nefastos." More...

Baptism Signs With Season Of Mist

Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of Finnish elitist black metal outfit Baptism, with the underground veterans aiming to release a full-length through the record deal next year. Baptism comments on the signing:

"We are very excited to become a part of Season of Mist, with such a great roster and people behind the label. It is an honour as well as a great opportunity for us. We are planning to enter studio at the end of this year in order to record our first album for Season of Mist, which will hopefully be released in 2016. We will be coming back stronger than ever and we cannot wait to start a great fire to light the darkness with this record. Until the world may burn... A.M.S.G."

Season Of Mist also had this to say: "Black metal orthodoxy demands a raw and unbound fierceness in the musical expression that is counterbalanced by epic melodies buried underneath a shredding onslaught and majestic atmospheres as well as corpsepaint, hoods and spikes in the visuals enhanced by Satanic mysticism on the lyrical side. All of this is delivered to the dark letter by Baptism, who also let their Finnish roots clearly show through their hellish sound."

The band consists of:

Lord S. - vocals, guitar, songwriting
SG.7 - guitar
TG - lead guitar
Syphon - bass
