Napalm Records announced that it has inked Dutch symphonic metal act Delain to a worldwide contract. The band recently issued its latest LP "We Are the Others" (see review over here) through Roadrunner in Europe and Sensory Records in North America.

The announcement reads: "Last week, Delain's Charlotte & Martijn hopped on a plane to Austria, in order to pay the Napalm Records headquarters a visit and to sign a worldwide contract. As you can see on the picture, they did it voluntarily without being coerced into anything. The new partnership was celebrated by hitting the snowy and icy slopes surrounding Eisenerz, where Austrian and Dutch racers met in a friendly competition. As behind the microphone, Charlotte gave 110% and broke her arm while racing to a well-deserved victory. Don’t worry though, she’s fine and Delain is the latest addition to the ever-growing Napalm Records family! Welcome!"

The band commented: "We are so much looking forward to the cooperation with Napalm Records. This is the perfect label for us, and this cooperation makes it possible for us to build on, and reach out to our fans."

Thomas Caser, Head Of Napalm A&R stated: "Having been a fan and follower of the band since its beginning, I personally am extremely proud that Delain are now part of our roster. The band shares our visions and together we will bring Delain to the top!"
