Brazil's Masters Open Air Festival has been officially cancelled, according to the event's organizers. The one-day festival, which was set to be held July 24 at Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil, was scheduled to include performances by such acts as URIAH HEEP, NEVERMORE, OVERKILL, BLAZE, CIRCLE II CIRCLE, ROTTING CHRIST, KORZUS, DRAGONHEART, HEAVENFALLS and THALION. No further information is available at this time.

Anyone who promotes old farts like Uriah Heep as "metal" does not deserve any better...Why not also Beach Boys (yes, they are still touring)? Clearly, Brasilian metal fans know better - they must have boycotted the stupid show, so it bombed!
