The Haunted Vocalist Peter Dolving Splits With Band

Vocalist Peter Dolving announced on his Facebook page that he has officially left The Haunted. In the following post, Dolving explicitly said he will not divulge the reasons for his departure:

I am officially quitting The Haunted. After years of working with the band, I am out. I have had it. I will NOT answer questions to why. It's no one elses business. Thank you very much. I am looking forward to seeing you people at other shows with other projects.

The band responded with the following post on its Facebook Page:

BREAKING NEWS: Peter leaves The Haunted

Peter has decided to leave The Haunted permanently.
We don't have any more news or info for you regarding this at the moment,
but stay tuned for future updates...

We just wanted to put and end to all the rumors out there.

Better Marco than some new face I think. I always liked Peter in The Hunted, but haven't cared for the direction of the band over the past couple releases.

Superd*** is Peter's style; I expected nothing less. I'm interested in where this may go, and it would be nice to hear Marco scream bloody murder in The Haunted again, BUT that said, I do enjoy the last album quite a bit.

Last few Haunted albums were pretty bad imo;especially Unseen. Horrible direction. Marco i beleive has the new band with Jesper of In Flames. Like Hellrat said,time for the Bjorlers to fire up At The Gates. Im sure Tompas up for another round.

Not gonna lie, I prefer Unseen over both Versus and The Dead Eye by a considerable margin. I just really dig the songwriting. And this is coming from a fan who got hooked during the Made Me Do It/One Kill Wonder era. Diversity!

The Dead Eye was great in it's own right. Of coarse, rEVOLVEr will always be the staple for the band. Would have loved to hear more of that style. Dolving is poison!
