Slipknot Recording Final 3-4 Songs For Album

RoadRunner Records have supplied some new info on SLIPKNOT and their current recording status:

"As of today, SLIPKNOT is officially back in the haunted Houdini mansion with producer Rick Rubin, finishing up the recording of their yet-to-be-titled third LP on Roadrunner Records. Word has it the band is still going to lay down 3-4 more full songs, and that Corey is to be elbow deep in vocals over the next couple of weeks. More details to come as the time draws closer..."

As previously reported, SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison will take time out from the recording sessions for the new CD to play two shows in California with his other band, MURDERDOLLS.

The dates are as follows:

Jan. 15 - Key Club - Hollywood, CA
Jan. 17 - Showcase Theatre - Corona, CA

Support at the shows will come from ROCK CITY MORGUE, the New Orleans, Louisiana-based band featuring former WHITE ZOMBIE bassist Sean Yseult.

I'm not trying to make a big deal out of things, but Slipknot is one of my favorite bands, and they at least make a damn good point of not sounding like the new rock bullsh** that KoRn started (though, in my opinion, KoRn has redeemed themselves on their 2 last albums). So, Mr. Jerry and Mr. Kyle, you need to decide whether you like a band or not. Seems to me that above you both praised slipknot and hate them. Either you have a split personality, or you are very two-faced and unloyal. Make up your mind. Also, I can't wait for the new album, and I hope slipknot doesn't break up because of that damned Stone Sour sh**. That would be a tragedy. Oh yeah, Jerry/Kyle, you also need to go back to school to learn how to spell, and learn proper sentence structure. Or maybe that's your problem, your still in school, and have a lot to learn about life and music. Maybe you're just too immature.
