Avenged Sevenfold, in collaboration with Treyarch, has created an original music track titled “Not Ready to Die” for the “Call of the Dead - Escalation” zombie experience that assembles a zombie-carnage dream team to fight against a new and undefeatable zombie horde menace.
“Not Ready to Die,” the new single by Avenged Sevenfold, is now available for download on the iTunes store.
"Being able to collaborate with such talented artists and musicians was an absolute honor and thrill for everyone involved," said Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. "We think the fans are going to go crazy over it!”
“We're all huge fans of each other's work and have been talking with Mark and his team at Treyarch about creating something special,” said Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows. “So when the opportunity came together to do ‘Not Ready to Die,' it was a natural fit. We're stoked to be part of 'Call of the Dead'.”

And the war between wanna be metal and real metal rage on...
Me not a fan of the band at all, in saying that this song is going to a better direction its still got a long way to go who knows maybe in 5 more albums they might have a good one....
As for thr awards, the awards are given to the people that have a sad life and sit their and vote.... which is all emo's, i remember the year Machine Head - The Blacking won the album of the year... all the My Chem Romance fans went off and started posting sh** on the Machine Head fan sites....

Hey its easy to hate on the most popular hard rock/metal group around (your doing something right when other bands or magazines say your the next Iron Maiden). I mean its not like they have drew praise from bands like Metallica or other iconic bands at all, and I really want to know what "real" metal is today because Lamb of God is heavy metal I mean you still have Metaliica and Godsmack but I'm sure Godsmack to most are just a "poser metal band" metalcore isn't "real" metal and if Disturbed and A7X aren't "real" metal what the hell do you consider just metal? metal to me doesn't have growling or screaming as much if at all, if your a band that screams and growls a lot then your more likely to fall under the heavy metal category like Lamb of God if its a good mix then you probably fall under the Metal category like Five Finger Death Punch and Dark Tranqullity. I for one am a fan and bombard me and insult me if you must but, whether you like them or not they are possibly the most talented band out there today. As for awards not meaning anything they are marks in your career they show accomplishments like winning the MVP in basketball or football or any other sport getting a number one album or having an album go gold or platinum is like winning a championship it shows what you have achieved throughout the year and your career. Awards and album sales get you into the hall of fame, not to mention overwhelming popularity and the ability to appeal to the younger generation as well as the older generation and the ability to put on a kick a$$ show. NOW don't get me wrong I am NOT saying you have to like them what I am saying is you need to give credit where credit is due and show respect for great talent for instance I am not a fan of Black Sabbath yeah they have a few songs I like but I don't really like their sound all that much same goes for Led Zeppelin however I respect the hell out of them for what they did for music, i can definitely respect the talent that both bands have/had but its not my thing. Finally if anyone ACTUALLY checks this and reads this comment and says "I'm just a fanboy" or "I'm an idiot" (I will admit though that Avenged fans tend to get pretty obnoxious and scream their heads off if you don't like them.) or anything else like that, nope I'm just a musician that enjoys amazing talent in most genre's. And their drummer don't worry about him I saw them live with him and he's an absolute monster its just gonna take him sometime to get his own style with the band its an adjustment period for both of them.

TJ, you might try using paragraphs; they generally work pretty well in getting your communication across
Also, you simply cannot compare the interpretive objectivity of the arts with the qualifiable subjectivity of sporting achievement, 'awards' or otherwise
Good Lord, the next Iron Maiden? Ha!
And based on your comments, would it be safe to assume that you find M Shadows **cough** 'talented'?
Anyway, thanks for providing your profound insights :)
