The Rockstar Ramblings: The Fall Schedule

Television networks have released their updated fall schedules and there are apparently some big surprises coming our way…

HBO is unveiling “The L Factor”, a Saturday night talk show hosted by Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead. When asked what type of guest Lemmy will be having on his new show he stated simply, “Mostly women”…

David Coverdale (Whitesnake) is joining the cast of “Dancing with the Stars” as their newest judge. A rep for the show who asked to remain nameless believes that if anyone knows dancers, well, it’s going to be David Coverdale…

The biggest shock of the week was CBS declaring they have found a replacement for Charlie Sheen’s character on Two and a Half Men. No one was more surprised to hear the name Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) called then Dee. The producers for Men all agreed that after re-watching the series “Growing up Twisted,” Snider clearly had the attitude, smile, and hair they were looking for. He was their man…

Speaking of Sheen, welcome to VH1’s latest reality show that brings Charlie Sheen and Bret Michaels (Poison) together to share a house with 20 porn stars. The name: “Rock of Winning.” The concept is pretty similar to the Rock of Love reality shows except that no one goes home in this series. You just watch Sheen and Michaels living with 20 porn stars. This show has already been renewed for three seasons…

We don’t know the specifics, but the SPEED channel is in contract negotiations with Jani Lane (Warrant) and Vince Neil (Motley Crue)…

The Style Channel is jumping on the American Idol bandwagon and is giving Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) his own weekly show titled “Old Dude’s House of Fashion”…

Immediately following the Travel channel show Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” you will find Ozzy Osbourne in his new show “Plenty of Reservations.” Each show will take a blindfolded Ozzy Osbourne and place him in remote parts of the world. Watch as the cameras capture Ozzy trying to escape the jungles of Africa, frigid Russia, and downtown Detroit…

After only a few months TBS has decided to shake up the Conan show, bringing in a new house band: Ratt. The song “Round and Round” will be the new show introduction. Producers feel the lyrics “Out on the streets/that’s where we’ll meet” give the talk show a more West Side Story feel, which has been their vision from the start…
