American thrash metal legends Slayer have announced that they will be embarking on a co-headlining tour of North America this Summer along with shock rocker and movie director Rob Zombie. The two big names will also be joined by Bay Area thrash metal legends Exodus.
"We haven't toured with Zombie since Ozzfest 1999, so you can expect no less than 'hell on earth,'" said Slayer's Kerry King. "Total sonic annihilation and a visual bludgeoning. Bring your own body bag..."
"Total destruction on stage and off is what this combination promises," states Zombie, "Seriously, how much more Hell could you ask for? The answer is none more Hell."
The tour dates are as follows:
July 20 - Sovereign Center - Reading, PA
July 22 - DTE Amphitheatre - Detroit, MI
July 23 - Stage AE - Pittsburgh, PA
July 24 - Heavy T.O. at Downsview Park - Toronto, ON
July 27 - MTS Centre, Winnipeg - MB
July 29 - Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon, SK
July 30 - Scotiabank Saddledome - Calgary, AB
July 31 - Rexall Place - Edmonton, AB
August 2 - Save-On-Foods Memorial Center - Victoria, BC
August 3 - Rogers Arena, Vancouver - BC

The U.S. is a HUGE market for metal and not only to mention most the bands that are NOT doing N. American tours are from America. lol Go figure. Though I do how ever know that the Metal world is much BIGGER in Europe. It started there so it only makes sense!
Most bands today that started out mainly for the art (Like Rob Zombie) are only doing it for the money now and not the joy of the fans or the music. This is why they tour only BIG cities and tour Other countries!

Whew, I'm glad we got this tour and not the big4! Exodus and Slayer are exponentially better than Megadeth, Metallica, and Anthrax imo. But truth be told my opinion counts for absolutely no merit because I'm not even into thrash. I'm going pretty much just to see John 5 lol

They SOOOO need to extend this to more tour dates. This sh** would sell like crazy. The guys on metalsucks said it perfect; this is the perfect tour to get f***ing drunk as sh** at. Exodus opens to get sh** started in a big way, for once giving the hardcore slayer fans an opening band they can get down to, then Rob Zombie goes on to rock a bunch of catchy, but heavy tunes that get all the drunkards pumped up. Rob Zombie, from what I've noticed, also has an advantage over Marilyn Manson, the other industrial-ish hot topic band Slayer toured with, in that most of the real metalheads into heavier bands like Slayer at the very least dont hate him, but half the time actually like him.
And then Slayer. 'nuff said.
I would LOVE to go to this, should it hit Florida.

BG: I didnt forget the titties, I just didnt want to alert everyone, so there would be more for me. :D
Honestly, I'm more tempted to go to the Poison/Motley Crue tour, simply for the nigh incalcuable amounts of milfs and tit flashes. MORE MILFS THAN YOUR BODY HAS ROOM FOR! I'm goin cougar huntin.
