When Killswitch Engage fisrt came out with Jesse they were interesting to say the least. For their style they were a step ahead of others like them. I even saw them twice live and they were really amazing live.
However, they have fallen into the AC/DC or Cannibal Corpse mode. By this I mean for the last few records they have been creating and the same sound over and over again and are no longer interesting to me.
I figured that Jesse and Adam would be capable of creating something new and catching fire like they did when they created Killswitch. I was wrong. After listening to a few of their songs from this new band it sounds just like Killswitch with a few minor differences, but nothing to really distance the sound from Killswitch.

I will agree with you that they have restored some new energy in their last few albums (exception being "Kill"). The guitar work on the Plague album stands out. Still after 11 albums I don't see much change.
This is not to say it's a bad thing. CC fans will also like CC. However, bands such as Opeth and Mastodon evolve from album to album. I figured Adam and Jesse were going to try something different other then creating Killswitch part II for all the credit people have given them over the years..including me.

times of grace is basically what kse wouldda been today if they wouldda just taken a break after jesse's departure and come back all together, instead of replacing him almost immediately. so i agree with PTF saying it is just like kse BUT it's the sound of an album that could have been the follow up to alive or just breathing with jesse. and it kinda aggrevates me to hear adam sound amazing cuz then i question ytf he doesn't still continue to do that for kse now?! =\

I agree with everyone that "Alive or Just Breathing" is an epic album. Just a thought: do people think Times of Grace will spell the death of Killswitch or perhaps a departure of Adam from the band?
Regarding the video..the noise Adam makes 9 seconds into the video makes me laugh every time I see it. May be one of the funniest people in music today. Both times I saw them live Adam stole the show.

Adam and Jesse are geniuses on their own, together they are a powerhouse of ingenuity who have changed the way the world hears metal before, and are about to do it again.
Admittedly I've listened to the leaked album, (while paying for the preorder to ease my guilt) and 'Hymn of a Broken Man' is hands down the most amazing album I've ever come in contact with, it's a masterpiece.
Rarely do artists come along who have so much to give, so much to say and yet still make titty jokes and keep steady jobs.
I'm counting the days until my copy arrives.
