Chirmaira guitarist Rob Arnold is in a new side project dubbed The Elite. The band has posted a new video, Part 1 of "The Elite WW3 Mini-Movie" series. The video acts as an introduction to the band and an in-depth look at the creation of their "WW3 EP." The Elite features Chimaira's Rob Arnold, and Bleed The Sky's Austin D'Amond.

You can stream what appears to be the entire "WW3 EP" on the band's MySpace page.

the lyrics are preechy, i'll stick with hatebreed for that. Side projects spell bad news for great bands. Chimaira is an excellent metal band, this can only hurt them.

Lyrically this band is way better than Chimaira. At least TJ has something to say. I'm beginning to grow tired of hearing about how "powerful" Mark is, or how sad and/or angry he feels. Definite upgrade for Arnold. Chimaira has run it's course and should hang it up.
