Recently, Slash (Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N Roses) was discussing Alice Cooper, mentioning he believes Cooper is the most dramatic and the best at on-stage horror theatrics. Thanks Slash, I guess that’s the least you can say considering you stole his top hat shtick …

Slash also announced he is getting into the horror movie business with his label Slasher Films. His first movie is a title named “Nothing to Fear”. In related news Rob Zombie’s (White Zombie) next project “The Lords of Salem” is under way, also, Bret Michaels (Poison) horror movie titled “Life AS I Know it” will begin airing next Monday…

While on the subject of horror movies, here are a few mainstream rock crossovers that didn’t make it to the production room: Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof II starring Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Wes Craven’s New Frankenstein: The real story behind the Bulletboys Summer of 1998, and the controversial Michael Moore documentary Steel Horse: The Bon Jovi Hair extensions story…

Scott Weiland’s (Stone Temple Pilots, ex-Velvet Revolver) Christmas album has a title: Most Wonderful Time of The Year. Based on this information we can conclude: A. Scott likes to go sledding B. Scott likes to give presents C. Four Words: EggNog and Brandy D. All of the above…Another note on Weiland, is it just me or when you see his name at the top of “most searched” on Google or Yahoo you always assume the worse? Sort of like Dick Cheney, George Michael, and Lindsay Lohan. By the way, I call this group the Gary Busey list…

Apparently Reality Star, Bret Michaels, has run out of song titles, his latest “Riding against the Wind” is very similar to “Ride the Wind” off Flesh and Blood. Other songs we can expect: “Nothing but a Trying Time”, “Talk Serious to Me”, and “I Want Therapy”…

Chickenfoot has announced that because Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) is leaving to rejoin his band they are auditioning drummers and have mentioned Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee as a potential replacement. It’s okay, just admit it guys, you want to break up…

Prior to posing nude for Billboard magazine, Bret Michaels told anyone that would listen that he didn’t eat for a full day and did 2,000 sit-ups prior to the shoot. In a related story, ex-football great Herschel Walker recently posed nude for ESPN magazine. Walker boasts that he does 3500 sit-ups and 1000 push ups daily, doesn’t eat for days, and that this has been the norm since his High School days. Take that Rock of Love…

In honor of John Lennon’s 70th birthday Ozzy Osbourne has covered one of his songs claiming that John and the Beatles were an inspiration to his music career. Who was Ozzy’s inspiration for acting on TV? This wasn’t covered, but I believe Osbourne’s style is a combination of Keanu Reeves, The Rock, Chuck Norris, the girl who played Blossom and Charlie Sheen…

This week’s public service announcement comes via Vince Neil who told The New York Post that he doesn’t trust his band Motley Crue, and that the other members always have ulterior motives. For all the children out their listening: Not only does smoking marijuana make you paranoid, but apparently also tequila does….

Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) is going to be starring in the Broadway hit Rock of Ages for 11 weeks. Here’s to hoping that his family will not be on stage with him and that Snider will have a moment of confusion and show up as Santa Claus from his Broadway show A Twisted Christmas …
