Ozzy Osbourne Announces Tour Dates With Slash

British heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne will be touring North America once again in january, where he will be joined by the equally recognisable, Slash (Velvet Revolver/former Guns N Roses guitarist.) Tickets are expected to go on sale through Ticketmaster this week.

The initial tour dates are as follows (more to be announced shortly):

January 16 – Omaha, NE – Qwest Center
January 22 – Kansas City, MO – Sprint Center
February 1 - Universal City, CA - Gibson Amphitheatre
February 3 - San Jose, CA - HP Pavilion
February 5 - Tacoma Dome - Tacoma, WA
February 14 - i wireless Center - Moline, IL

this sounds like a great show, but would be even more incredible if slash was playing in ozzy's band, not just opening up.

Got my tix for Tacoma show today! I think halford is a great opener, but would REALLY like to see Down open for Ozzy- the southern supergroup opening for the Prince of Darkness. Slash on his own is ok, but would be awesome if he played lead for Ozzy! That would leave my ears ringing for weeks!
