Queensryche Signs To Roadrunner Records
American progressive heavy metal legends Queensryche has announced that they have signed a new deal with Roadrunner Records. The band are currently working on a new studio album. Speaking on the record, drummer Scott Rockenfeld said:
"Geoff (Tate) and I have really spent a lot of time together redesigning the Queensrÿche thing, which you’re going to love. It’s huge rock but with a great dance vibe to it, real modern dance. It’s kind of like Rage (For Order) through a time tunnel, bringing it into the now. There are a lot of electronic elements to it. It’s a big rock thing that is going to have a lot of color to it - it’s good and really intense."

Operation Disco Time....or maybe Queen of the Disco Reich (just for Oz!)

There is no use in dealing with the guys' words anymore...Queensryche without their basic composer(Chris had always been the one) can only harm a little more their former glory...Promised Land was brilliant and then the unexplained happened, Chris' leaving was the next step and the rest of it is already history. There is no connection of this band today with the legendary and daring genius of the past...(Very sad for me and most of the people who stood by them since the beginning...)

Not sure what Scott meant by this dance crap.....the cabaret thing was intented for adults....haven't seen it...never came to my town....Road runner records are not the best they could have done, but I do hope this next album is better than "American Soldier"..(even though one song should have been a hit).....no matter, still one of the best live acts one will ever see....

How the mighty have fallen.
Dance???
Why don't they try going back to the Mindcrime or Empire days.
The last good album was Promised Land.
