Killswitch Engage Members Form New Band, Times Of Grace

Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz has announced that he and former Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach will be teaming up once again, as the duo have formed a new band entitled, Times Of Grace. The band are currently working on their debut album, "Hymns Of A Broken Man," which is expected to be released this November through Roadrunner Records.
"In all my life. I have yet to write a record that bares my soul as much as this record does," Leach said. "Adam and I had a real spiritual connection while making this and I know that it comes through in the performances and lyrics. This record has our blood, sweat and tears flowing through it. It is painfully honest at times. In short this record is our catharsis."
Adam D. added: "Making this record was something completely new for me. It documents some of the most difficult, yet spirited times of my life in the past three-and-a-half years. A lot of the music and lyrics just came out of me while going through several internal struggles, and writing these songs were the only comfort I could find. I reached out to Jesse to help sing and write these songs with me because of my respect for his musical abilities, and because of our great friendship... one that seems to not change no matter what happens in our lives.
"In the end, I am very proud of this record, and I feel it has helped me through some of my darkest days. I'm hoping that people will enjoy it, and also that it can maybe help others to keep the most positive mindset, even through the most trying of times."

This is great news. Music SHOULD be an expression of who we are...our emotions...our turmoils...that's when good music is made is when the soul is fully behind it. I'm pretty excited to hear what they came up with...but with Adam D I'm still not holding my breath lol
Who could ever doubt a man who wears tuxedo shirts, short shorts, and a headband, to his shows? Adam D is a god among men when it comes to stage presence, when I saw Killswitch in Toronto last year with In Flames he stole the show. He even wrote a little ballad for the show called, "Friendly Neighbours to the North" lmao.
This is some pretty good news in my opinion, Killswitch was slowly getting kind of boring, and I love Jesse's vocals they're so...raw. Can't wait to check it out.
Good news. Killswitch has really not done anything amazing in a long time. The last two albums were boring. I've always been a fan of Leach and hopefully this new band will step it up. However, I hope it doesn't sounds like early Killswtich. Despite the Alive album's greatness, fans already know and love it. Let's here these two talented guys play some metal that we haven't heard.

Fried Chicken is the easiest way to my heart.
that, or a nice cheesesteak sammich.
oh god..even a pork roll egg and cheese.
I gotta stop, I'm making myself hungry -_-
CLUCK U WINGS!! f***
I just realized how irrelevant my comment about love for food is to this thread. I need to get back on topic.
I was going to see some bad I think it was either Bodom or In Flames and Jesse Leach was frontman of this band called Seemless and they weren't that bad at all.
seemless is a blues-y rock band. they're not that bad. just not my cup of tea tho lol
it's true what bg says about jesse might not sound like he used to, kuz i checked out his other kinda jazz metal band, the empire shall fall, and he does sing/scream pretty different then he did back in kse. nonetheless, still looking forward to hear some of this sh**.
and BG, adam D might be a closet homo, he might NOT be a closest homo. u nvr know. and that's just the way he likes it. keeping us guessing lol
and demise, he is hilarious. i've seen them live and sometimes when they perform "rose of sharyn", "end of heartache", or "arms of sorrow", he says something about sex and that "this is for all the underage girls!" lmao
NH, it was more of a joke to be honest...Adam D is a really talented dude. His shtick on stage has gotten old for me now...I'm hoping with this project he puts more of himself into it. I agree with the above comments about KsE getting old...they're god aweful now. It's music aimed at selling records...not music from the heart as far as I can tell. Jesse isn't nearly as talented as Howard, per se, but Jesse is a much better frontman because he actually puts himself and his soul into the music he creates. I agree with BG1, Jesse could only do a 10 minute set before...be very interesting to see how he sounds if he has indeed been trained properly.

I like Jesse's vocals so we'll see if it's new or sounds like original KSE.
