Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) announced this week that if a judge on American Idol he would be honest. Speaking of honesty, Joe Perry spoke this week about the secret of Tyler becoming a judge, saying he was not happy with the situation and hurt Steven didn’t let the band know. So, if I understand correctly, it is okay to lie to your band mates regarding drug use, just not over reality television? Actually, I’m not even sure what side I’m on anymore, nor does it matter because we all know the true losers in this scenario are: Bret Michaels and Gene Simmons (he had to try and get this, right?) for losing out to Steven Tyler…

Speaking of Bret Michaels (Poison), the runner up to being an American Idol judge is apparently judging the Miss Universe Pageant. Well done Bret, keep going and soon you will get the coveted judge spot for the Coney Island Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest…

David Lee Roth and the Van Halen brothers have confirmed they are back in the studio, anticipating a 2011 release date for their next album. Is there any doubt one of the songs will include the line “I’m back baby, and stronger than ever”…

This week’s App of the week comes from Slash (Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N Roses) who has released Arcade Rocker, a smart phone application that allows you to tap along to Slash’s songs. This week’s most boring idea comes from Slash who has released Arcade Rocker, a smart phone application that allows you to tap along to Slash’s songs…

EBay pick of the week: Kiss home movies from 1979 taken by the road crew on the Kiss Dynasty Tour. Given this would put Gene in his prime I’m guessing a lucky bidder will see Wilt Chamberlin type numbers in the female conquest department…

Guest starring on L.A. Ink will be Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue). This is really just obvious and doesn’t need to really need to be announced; I just assumed Nikki was EVERY show of L.A. Ink. Trying to come up with proper comparison the only I came up with was watching a show about top 40 celebrity scandals and just knowing Andy Dick would be somewhere in the top ten…

Ozzy Osbourne is claiming that if he was losing his hair he would just shave his head and that the last thing he would do is wear a wig. He recalled a story from his bar days when a guy wearing a bad toupee was sitting next to him, Ozzy ripped off the wig, soaked it into his beer, and put it back on his head. Is there ANYONE more fun than Ozzy when he was ripped?...

While proclaiming his love for Dr. Drew, Steve Adler (Adler’s Appetite, ex-Guns N Roses), claimed that the doctor saved his life by allowing him to stay on TV at Sober House. Also, in the interview he confessed to falling off the wagon 5 times in the last two years. Then goes on to say that he really wants to get back together with the original GNR lineup. Then again discusses his drug use. Is it wrong to put odds on this ending poorly? Yes, oh well. 2-1…

Brief review of Slash’s new video “Back To Cali” featuring Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) on vocals. Live footage: yes, grade A Live footage of Slash running across huge stages ala “Paradise City”: check, grade A Scenes of Hollywood: yes, grade A Sunset to end the song: check, grade A Scantily dressed strippers and women in bikinis: none, grade F…

Members from the band Trixter have now also been confirmed along with members of L.A. Guns, Cinderella, and Jackyl to appear on the Whole Lotta Love: An All Star Salute to Fat Chicks. If this isn’t the definition of a passion project, I just don’t know what is…

Ozzy Osbourne in an interview was excited at the idea of playing again with the original Black Sabbath line-up. This is great news for his fans and even greater news for Ozzy , staying occupied with his music; no longer having to watch his wife Sharon judging pie eaters, jugglers, and other awful acts on America’s Got Talent…

This week’s “Hey its 2010, not 2003” goes to Rob Zombie for this week’s interview where he is quoted saying “Nobody wants to purchase music albums anymore”…

Finally, Joey Kramer, the drummer from Aerosmith wanted to make sure he was heard on Steven Tyler and his potential American Idol gig saying, “I think it will be a positive experience for Steven and the band”. Thanks Joey, I wasn’t going to be able to sleep until I got the opinion of the drummer…

LOL... all fine in the world of Rock and Metal then!

Seriously, they should make a movie about Aerosmith.

Speaking of movies, what happened to the Mötley Crûe "The Dirt" film project? Will it ever come out, or - ops - has it already? I DEFINITELY wanna see that one.
