Iron Maiden Announces New Album Release Date, Tracklisting, Reveals Artwork And Posts New Song Online

British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden has announced that their forthcoming new studio album, "The Final Frontier," will be released on August 16th through EMI Records. In addition to this, the band has also posted a new song online entitled, "El Dorado," which can be downloaded for free at their official website, where the cover art for the album can also be seen. Alternatively you can view a clip of the song below.

Singer Bruce Dickinson said about "El Dorado": "'El Dorado' is a preview of the forthcoming studio album. As we will be including it in the set of our Final Frontier World Tour (which opens in Dallas On 9th June - full dates below) we thought it would be great to thank all our fans and get them into The Final Frontier mood by giving them this song up front of the tour and album release."

After being basked in the glow of their released material for a while, you get used to it, and you expect more material to keep coming.

I'm really looking forward to this album.

The song is great, stylistically, it draws from their post 'Brave New World' albums. Maiden don't regurgitate, though.

Love the cover.

Up the irons.

They better come back to New Zealand, but I'm sure it's not gonna be anytime soon. The last time they came (2009), they wouldn't let me in, cause I was only 12 :-(

I can see from the colour that your best buddy in this world didn't have too many years around here. Well, less than 5yrs, easily, and from the position of the ears on the photo (or his entire position) you could tell he's a male. The "colouration" will turn more yellow and overall darker in the future. 100lbs? A bit on the heavier side..? No? ;)
