Stone Sour Reveals New Album Title, "Audio Secrecy"
Stone Sour, the band featuring Slipknot members Corey Taylor and James Root, has announced that the name of their new studio album will be, "Audio Secrecy." The band plan to perform some songs from the album when they head out on the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival this summer. "Audio Secrecy" is the bands third studio album and succeeds the bands highly successful 2006 album, "Come What(ever) May."
"Audio Secrecy is the summation of everything we want, everything we crave and everything we fight for," says lead singer Corey Taylor. "The dimensions go further than anything we've ever tried before. It's metal, rock, slow, soft, hard, fast, bitter, beautiful and most importantly, it's REAL. You can't get an album like this out of a band that doesn't exist. We're throwing caution out the damn window."

Music to be kept secret?
"everything we crave and everything we fight for"
Not keeping metal secret, but spreading it to those who want to listen would be what I though...
"The dimensions go further than anything we've ever tried before"
Wtf
"It's metal, rock,"
Hope so,
"slow, soft, hard, fast,"
^ agrees with BG
"bitter, beautiful and most importantly, it's REAL."
Uh huh -.-
"You can't get an album like this out of a band that doesn't exist"
This statement confuses me with it's complete truth.
Overall, I'll probably download it or stream it first. If it's a disappointment, I won't be buying this one like I did the other two.

eraserhead - Some say he does, some say he doesn't.
With Slipknot, he's trying to scream more, but he's f***ed his voice right up and can't handle it, and while I've had a lucky two shows of them, many people get sh** ones.
Stone Sour is easier on his vox, and the live DVD that came with the last album has him pretty on form to be honest. So, it's probably hit and miss, but much more likely to get a good show with Stone Sour than Slipknot.

#14, Good to read ya as always Irish. I agree with you, when I saw them (Slipknot) his vox were very strong and he was able to pull off the clean vocals well. I've yet to see him with Stone Sour...don't think I will to be honest unless they're touring with someone good.

BG, that sucks man...don't blame you. You're right on par...I for one LOVE CT's voice...but his inability to remain consistent despite proper training is very disappointing. Ironically, so far Slipknot is only one of three bands I've seen live that actually lived up to my expectations and then some (other two were Gojira [bet you didn't see that coming...] and Lamb Of God). I've seen the youtube videos of Slipknot at download festival and hooooly sh!t I would've requested a refund and vowed never to pay to see him again too...

i RLLY hope it's good but from the sound of it, it seems as if even my alrdy low expectations of it won't be met.
