I'm on the fence. I love Barlow era Iced Earth, but feel they've gotten stale even with his return.

Yes i agree deathbringer Iced Earth have gone a bit flat the first album i brought was "The Glorious Burden" that was a cracker of an album then i decided to buy all there old stuff much better there comeback album "The Crucible Of Man: Something Wicked Part 2" i thought was a bit of a let down i think before this point the Glourious Burden just rocked after that i think the band went a bit stale

I actually like The Crucible of Man quite a bit, I liked the way the album flowed and feel i could listen to any song from it and be satisfied... But then again, thats how I feel about most Iced Earth albums

Hmmph. Originally, Schaffer had stated this box set was going to feature Barlow-vocal versions of the ENTIRE "Framing Armageddon" album. So I guess that didn't happen, huh? Already have the albums, already have the singles, already have the re-recorded "Charge To Keep"...not worth $40 for three live songs, a 12-page booklet, and a poster, sorry.
