STP used to be amazing. I was a little disappointed with Shangri La Dee Da. I thought it would grow on me but it never did. I like the first half of the album and then it just gets wayyyyyy too psychadelic. The album art is nothing special but it does have that little flower symbol they use a lot.
I hope scott isn't boozing again because he ruined the comeback show I saw them do at PNC Bank Art Center in NJ bc he was too drunk to remember the lyrics.

First concert I ever went to was in 2001 when I was 16 I saw the Chili Peppers and STP co-headline 2 nights at Jones Beach and it was amazing. It was the Californication and No. 4 tours.
Scott was definitely still on drugs back then but they were amazing live. When I saw them on their 2008 comeback tour Scott really dropped the ball at PNC but I heard it was 10x better at Jones Beach a few months later. My brother brought our PNC ticket stubs to the Jones beach show and they gave everyone their top of the line T-shirts for free as an apology to the New Yorkers that went to PNC lol.
I hope this album is awesome because the Deleo's and Kretz deserve it.
