Morbid Sin's "Sins of the Flesh" and Demos CD To Be Released
Morbid Sin's "Sins of the Flesh" will finally see a CD release through Stormspell Records.
Morbid Sin was formed by Bobby Lucas (ex-SEVEN WITCHES and current OVERLORDE singer) in 1985 during his senior year of high school. Influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Overkill, Mercyful Fate, and Exciter, MORBID SIN was a blend of tempo-changes, heavy chugging riffs, piercing screams, melody, and bombastic drumming.
"Sins of the Flesh" was the one and only Morbid Sin album so far, recorded in 1998, but shelved and never released until today. Fans of US classic/power metal a-la HELSTAR, SEVEN WITCHES, OVERLORDE, RAVENSTHORN, etc. should take note.
"Sins of the Flesh" is expected to be released in February 2010, with original artwork by Bobby "Leatherlungs" Lucas viewable here.
Also expected in February is "The Arrival of the Sin / Cauldron of Souls" CD. This CD contains their two classic demos from 1988 and 1992.
