Trivium Drummer Travis Smith To Miss Upcoming Tour

Trivium has announced that drummer Travis Smith will be unable to join them on their upcoming North American tour with Chimaira, Whitechapel and Dirge Within. A message from the band reads as follows:

"Travis Smith will not be joining us on this leg and is home taking care of some personal business. Filling in on drums for the tour will be south Florida’s Nick Augusto. Nick is a former Trivium drum tech and is a member of the band Maruta (Willowtip Records)."

f*** me right! After I just buy my ticket today I hear this sh**. Travis is an amazing drummer and definitely one of my top 10 favorites. I was lucky enough to catch an autographed drum head of his when I saw them with Slipknot. Trivium is still great, but this is real unfortunate.
