The surviving members of young British thrash metal outfit Evile has posted an update online which gives thanks to fans and the metal community in general for the support they have received following the passing of bass player Michael Alexander, who sadly passed away five days ago while the band were supporting Amon Amarth in Sweden. The message reads as follows:

"Thank you to everyone for all of your kind words, emails, messages and texts. You have no idea how much it means to Mike's family and us guys to see this amount of support, it's simply overwhelming. Thank you.

"Still can't believe this has happened, we miss our friend, please keep him in your hearts and minds. Thank you again."
