Scar Symmetry Posts New Video for "Noumenon & Phenomenon" Online
Swedish progressive melodic death metallers Scar Symmetry recently shot a video for the first single, "Noumenon & Phenomenon," off their upcoming album, "Dark Matter Dimensions," which was released on October 2, 2009 (Europe) and will be released on October 20, 2009 (North America) via Nuclear Blast Records.
The video shot by Legion of the Damned's very own Maurice Swinkels and is available for viewing on the band's MySpace video channel and YouTube channel.
Bassist Henrik Ohlsson comments: "We're pleased to announce that the video for the song 'Noumenon and Phenomenon,' shot in early September this year is coming together nicely. The director Maurice Swinkels is currently editing it and from what we've seen he's doing a damn fine job! We shot the video at two locations here in Sweden, the first one was basically a photostudio and the second location was...get ready now...an abandoned and haunted insane asylum!"
Maurice Swinkels comments: "Was great meeting up with the Scar Symmetry guys again since I produced their very first, one of the 'The illusionist' videos as well. We had 2 locations, one was shot with greenscreen, one was an old mental hospital which was actually near the studio of Peter Tagtgren! Very cool!"

Scar Symmetry is my favorite band...but, hell, this video sucks!!!!!!!!
It looks cheap as f*** (sad thing is that I already knew this video would suck since it was made by the same dude who directed the very first version of The Illusionist, and we all know that video sucks).
The new guys are great singers, but they're certainly not great perfomers!! Robban (the harsh vocals dude) looks like Popeye in here, what's up with your eye, man? and his gestures are beyond exaggeration, I mean, take it easy, dude, you look like a f***en clown!!!
On the other hand, Lars (clean vocals dude) looks boring as f*** and even kinda ashamed....
Oh, and let's not forget drummer Henrik...I mean, come f***en on, man, it's your band's brand new video! can't you look just a little excited!!!? It seems like he's thinking "f***, when will this goddamn video shoot end?, I got things to do..."
Sheesh...
