Clutch Enters Billboard Top 40

American rock outfit Clutch has entered the Billboard Top 200 album charts at number 38 with their latest studio record, "Stange Cousins From The West." The record has sold just under 14,000 copies in its first week of release and makes it the highest charting album in the bands career.

- also, the reason Clutch is sometimes referred to as Southern is that A: Maryland is technically a southern state (the Mason-Dixon line is our northern border); and B: They do incorporate some southern rock elements in to their music (albeit with a lot of other things as well).

I'm from Florida, so it just didn't seem to fit well with what's commonly referred to as "southern" here. you have some very good points, metalhead.
it was just one of those things that I always found a bit odd
guess I need to work on my geography a little more

Where I grew up, Connecticut was considered "southern" =^). It's all relative.

Diamond Oz-- Just a heads up, it still says "Stange" instead of "Strange" (missing an "r".)
