Sothis Explains Tour Date Cancellations
LA symphonic black metal band, Sothis, has issued the following statement regarding the cancellation of tour dates:
"It is with great disappointment we must announce that we’ll be cancelling the last three dates of the Candlelight Records III Tour as well as the four dates that were to immediately follow.
June 26th – The Garage – St. Petersburg, FL
June 27th – Culture Room – Ft. Lauderdale, FL
June 29th – Lola’s – Dallas, TX
June 30th – Walter’s on Washington – Houston, TX
July 1st – Red 7 – Austin, TX
July 2nd – Histeria Club – Juarez, MX
July 3rd – UB’s – Mesa, AZ"
"We experienced severe mechanical failure with our vehicle in Ashburn, Georgia of all places and it now appears that we will not be able to get back on the road until Friday July 3rd at the earliest. Several members will be flying home and several of us will be camping out in hotels waiting for the vehicle to be repaired."
"It is our hope that fans that had planned on attending one of our last seven remaining shows will accept our sincere apology. Although our spirits are admittedly low at the moment, our tenacity and perseverance has brought us this far and we promise you we will not only make up these dates but return to the cities we’ve just recently played as soon as possible."
"To the guys from Rumplestilskin Grinder and Absu, you guys are all absolutely great people, great musicians and it was an honor to share as many stages with you guys as we did. It is our hope that one day our bands paths will cross again."
