Dragonforce "Greatest Hits" Out Now

Band Photo: Dragonforce (?)
A video parodying power metal outfit Dragonforce has surfaced on YouTube. The video, cleverly edited to appear like a real commercial, claims to be advertizing Dragonforce's "Greatest Hits", showing off the bands singles in all their glory. You can check out the video below.

This band gets an absolutely absurd amount of hate. Don't get it. They're pure fun. Not groundbreaking, not essential, but purely entertaining, and a riot live. And if their songs follow a basic template, well, why mess with a good thing? Everyone always complains when other bands mess with their templates.

Post 23-25 is correct. Although, I still cannot give them any credit AT ALL at being an actual band considering they sound 100% different live than they do on their album. It's not a small ratio like most bands are, and it's not a GOOD thing that they change their sound for live performance. It's merely that they can't keep up with their own damn 200 minute songs of extreme blast beat and gravity beat drums and their 9500 bps solos. Honestly, the day I respect these guys, is when they make and actual song (and when it doesn't give me the sudden urge to grab my SNES out of my attic, dust it off and play some Mario).
