Heaven & Hell Enters Billboard Charts At Number 8

Heaven And Hell, the band consisting of the Black Sabbath lineup which featured Ronnie James Dio on vocals, Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass and drummer Vinny Appice, has entered the Billboard Top 200 at number 8 with their new studio album, "The Devil You Know." The last time a Black Sabbath lineup did this well in the Billboard charts was in 1971 when they released the album, "Masters Of Reality." The band will be spending the summer doing festivals in Europe before heading to North America for a full length tour.

I'm not a big fan of Dio or Dio-era Sabbath (some good songs there still), but I really enjoy the new album. It's a nice change from the usual.

Hell yeah! That's great; it's not like every great band has to, but I'm sure the guys feel nice for getting back on the charts after all those years. Keep on rollin \m/

Follow the Tears, neverwhere, and eating the Cannibals are badass, and Bible black is destined to be just as much a classic Dio song as Holy diver and Last in Line are.

the whole album is great, but I didnt like Rocka nd Roll angel one bit. EXCEPT, the guitar solo in it is one of the best on the whole album, SO i make myself sit through that whole song sometimes just to hear that solo, it's that good. lol

but Masodon still gets album of the year as faras I'm concerned. I'm still not sick of it,and I listen to it at least two to three times a day. that's saying something.

How good is that, with recent releases Metallica, Motley Crue, Slipnot and now Heaven & Hell, crashing into the top 10, it's definitely "The Sign Of The Southern Cross" could not agree more with all the positive comments above, congratulations and well deserved, great stuff!!
