Guitar Hero: Van Halen To Be Produced?

Rumours are beginning to spread that Van Halen will following in the footsteps of Aerosmith and Metallica and will be releasing their own version of the popular video game, Guitar Hero. Apparantly a source close to developer Activision claims that the game will be released around November time. Stay tuned for more details.

I think Guitar Hero is going to become the next "That's What I Call Music" series. They're just going to keep putting them out. It would be nice if they left it alone now, it's a bit of a dying fad.

It may be an annoying fad, but it gets some kids into rock/metal. Before this game my kids wouldn't touch metal with a 10 foot pole despite my best efforts. Because of it, my son has gotten into Metallica and is slowly moving on 2 the heavier stuff and even wants a real guitar which i will be buying him this summer.
