Devildriver Posts Australian Tour Report

Devildriver has returned from their tour of Australia and frontman Dez Fafara has posted the following report:

"Hello,

"Last blog for a moment.

"Had a killer time in Australia, shows were bad ass, we beat LAMB OF GOD at bowling, we achieved what needed to be done and shall return as soon as we can for sure.

"Thank you for all the support, coming to shows, guitar signings, and waiting in the airport for us.

"With a 4 AM lobby call and after the last show, 3 flights and 30+ hours of travel... several of us came home real sick, me being one of them. Fever, cough, in general I'm fucked.

"Gotta listen to the mixes of the new record, make notes, do the art, work on all the new merch, while at the same time try to rest and be with my family... All of this is becoming hard to do cause all I'm doing is fucking sleeping... LOL

"I will check in with all of ya when I can.

"Be well, Dez."

That was an amazing day at the showgrounds in melbourne. I was at the front of the pit for these guys. Funniest thing when dez walked on stage with the winebottle in his hand.

Yeah those bush fires where freaking nasty. Made me wince when I was watching the news. It's just terrible how these things travel fast. We don't have them in Canada but we have nasty forest fires but it's easier to get out of the way.

I thought it was cool how randy was saying about how they went up to the grampians for a day. If i had randomly ran into lamb of god there i would have gone nuts haha.

Did anyone see 36 crazyfists and how towards the end they got that guy to come up on stage and do vocals with brock? he said something about him being at all their concerts or some sh** haha. maybe i heard it wrong but thats dedication.
