Mushroomhead Enters The Studio
Masked metal band Mushroomhead has entered the studio to record their seventh studio album at the Filthy Hands compound in Cleveland, Ohio. The album will be released this summer through Megaforce/Epic Records.
Drummer/producer Steve "Skinny" Felton says: "Hell yeah, let’s go, after producing the last six albums I know what these guys can do and once again they are killing it! The cool thing about working with Mushroomhead is that there is always an idea on the table and someone brings it to the next level. Everytime someone tracks they raise the bar for the rest of the records, Thank God! They call each other out, they play each others parts they even fist fight! Their passion is undeniable and that is what rock & roll is all about! The sound is super dark and creepy and even violent at times."
Keyboardist Shmotz added "The new album is off to a great start and is full of aggression and intensity, although it is tough to be creative and keep a solid drug habit with all of the illegal downloading and file sharing these days!"

DeathInEye: Actually, they're albums are as follows:
Mushroomhead (self titled) - 1995
Superbuick - 1996
M3 - 1999
XX - 2001
XXIII - 2003
Savior Sorrow - 2006
There were some re-mixes along the way, but all in all, they're all pretty solid albums.
bbristowe: You're first mistake is taking Tom seriously. Schmotz is probably one of the funniest guy's i've ever met in my life. I've never seen him high before.

Another Mushroomhead album. J Mann in the studio - that is awesome! I will pick this up as soon as it gets released. I hope J Mann has a guest appearance on vox, in fact, I am almost sure of it. This will hopefully be an even better album than Savior Sorrow. Shroom 2009

The information comes from a pretty reliable source(BG1)-since he is in a band..so I am sure it is true. Yes - J Mann is one of the hardest working guys in music, and he continues to have a close friendship with Mushroomhead. Exciting news!! Hopefully it will be pretty heavy because J Mann may have a say in what direction the band will go with this new album. I know Pitch Black Forecast was heavy as hell.

Tx: I don't know how much of an impact J-Man will have this time around, but I do know he's involved vocally. I also know that everything I've heard to date lends itself to be the heaviest Mushroomhead album to date. I expect it to far outweigh the last.
