Chimaira Starts Mixing New Album

Mixing has begun on Chimaira's followup to "Ressurrection." Here's an update straight from the band:
"We are now in the mixing stage of the recording process!
"For those of you unfamiliar with what that means, it’s when you take all of the things recorded and put it together and make it sound right. You are hearing the song how it should sound on the album for the first time, so obviously it’s exciting…unless the mix sucks.
"Zeuss started earlier this week and sent us the first 2 songs he completed. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. This mix far from sucks. The low end on this record is gigantic! I highly suggest everyone goes out and buys subs so they can truly feel this record.
"We really wanted to beef up our sound all around and it’s great to hear it all come together and sound how we visioned it back in June when we started writing.
"Mr. Spicuzza is still working hard on the last couple songs while the rest of us are unwinding from the recording process. That doesn’t mean Chimaira is not on our minds. Since Monday we’ve been listening to all of the songs while trying to come up with the tracklisting for the album. We really want it to feel good from start to finish and it’s something that takes time. We listen to the songs in all sorts of different orders and see what feels best. We have the bookends (opening and closing track) all set, now we just need to put the rest of it together."

"Don't worry villan, Manny Man is just looking to piss people off, he does that on a lot of threads"
Yeah, I really do. Some get my humor and others blow blood vessels over it cause they know I'm right. I try to be funny but this band really is a sell-out piece of crap.
