Although no details have been revealed, it has been confirmed that drummer Michael Lee, who has previously worked with Thin Lizzy, The Cult, Lenny Kravitz and more, passed away yesterday at the young age of 39. More details will be announced shortly.

I've said for years that Thin Lizzy were the greatest rock band of all time and Lynnot was the greatest frontman who ever lived. Sucks to see someone die this young, at least he got to play with some of the biggest names in rock and made a living out of it.

He was in several bands and if you want to see Mike in action with Page and Plant, look up the Bizarre Festival 'Page and Plant' gigs on YouTube from German TV station WDR.

He recorded with us and I got to know him quite well. He was a great drummer and a great bloke.
