Victimizer Returns From Break, Working On New Material

Denmark's premier thrash metal band, Victimizer, has now returned after a much needed break. The first rehearsals have proven the new incarnation of the band to be stronger and more fierce than ever. Victimizer still consists of JBP (aka Killheiler, vocals), Henrik Engkjær (aka Mr. Born To Lose, guitar) and Vuml (bass). Two new members have joined the ranks in the shape of Søren Bentsen (drums) and Peter Engkjær (guitar). Both are also involved with Hideous Invasion and the latter being the brother of long time guitarist, Henrik Engkjær.

This means that the band, while still fairly scattered, are now based in Copenhagen, where the early rehearsals have taken place.

The band has also started work on the first new material since the acclaimed ”The Final Assault” album, that was released in 2007 by the american label, Hells Headbangers. The new material promises an even more unreasonable take on fast, aggressive, rocking and catchy death/thrash. In one of the coming months Victimizer will enter the studio and fans should be able to hear new songs in the not too distant future.

The first part in Victimizer’s return will probably be on the live front though, and currently there is one concert confirmed:

January 3rd: Ungdommens Hus, Fredericia.

In the meantime, you can check out some of Victimizer's song on their MySpace page.
