Satyricon Still Hoping To Achieve A Gold Record

Norwegian black metallers Satyricon has entered their home country's album charts at number five which is the lowest chart position the band has received in Norway since the 1999 album, "Rebel Extravaganza." The new album, "The Age Of Nero" has shipped 8,000 copies to record stores since it's November 3rd release.
Solheim Rohne explains, "If you look at the chart and the calender, it's clear that this is the highest chart position we could get. We have 1,000 recorders for 'The Age Of Nero' this week, so if we continue at that pace, we'll have a gold record before Christmas."
