MACHINE HEAD??!?!?!
For the 20th Anniversary of the biggest outdoor metal festival of all time?!?!?
Thats bullsh!t
2007 Iced Earth & Blind Guardian
2008 Iron Maiden (Only show in Germany)
2009 Machine Head.... why not take a sh!t inside my heart so my veins pump with sh!t
I was planning on going this year, but with Machine Head I may aswell change my plans...Like for Satan's Sake, maybe they should have picked a real metal band, maybe One of the 3 that are from Germany that are Responsible for most of what we enjoy today...It would have been a must see if it were Sodom, Kreator and Destrucion, but no...Machine head...a band that opened for Lamb of God...where is all this credulance coming from?

Tunnel, clearly you have no idea what you are on about.
iced earth and blind guardian were astonishingly bad in 07, they were outplayed by so many bands, including the so drunk they cant stand type o negative.
Maiden were sh**e this year, the gig was too big for them and before you moan at me i F'in love maiden.
Machine head have played there in previous years and are always, repete ALWAYs fun to watch.
i look forward to a festival without your attendance if that is your opinion. because clearly you are of questionable frame of mind.
Anyways, all i need for this festival to be confirmed is Amon Amarth, Bolt Thrower Suffocation and Judas Priest.
chuck in Dead Beyond Buried for good measure and a vip pass for me.

It doesn't matter what bands are playing, I bought my Wacken tickets way before any bands were announced... there's gonna be 70 bands ffs, I'm sure there'll be something there for everyone. I'm going because 65,000 metal heads in one location = the biggest party on earth, and after going for the first time last year there's no way I'm missing it again.
Mechine Head are cool, but they won't be the only headliners I'm sure. I'd wait for another few announcements before ranting about how it's "bullsh**" :)
Personally, I'm hoping for Judas Priest, Amon Amarth, In Flames and Gojira... but knowing the Germans and their love of power metal, I fear it will be Saxon and Manowar. But never mind, I will be there regardless :)

Machine Head never puts on a bad show. They are the hardest working band in the biz right now. Tunnel is obviously an idiot. There are plenty of festivals in europe. I'm sure he'll find one that he doesn't need to b**** about. Besides, that just makes one more spot available for those who appriciate greatness. MFH!!!\m/\m/!!!

Don't get me wrong a good show is a good show
I just think they should have a band that stands above the bands of the past few years (WAY) above
Priest though, would have been a WAY better choice for a Headliner
I mean, without Priest...there mightn't even be a Machine Head...or Wacken...we'll never know
