AC/DC To Have Their Own Rock Band Game?
The following report is courtesy of Paul Cashmere from Undercover.com.au:
Is there a stand-alone version of AC/DC Rock Band on the way? It certainly looks that way. A video game version of the AC/DC DVD ‘Live At Donington’ has hit the schedule for a Wal-Mart release in October. Wal-Mart now has a stand-alone video game for Rock Band 2 titled Live In Donington set in their store itinerary.
The product information lists it as a “1st time AC/DC must’.
The game would tie in with the current Rock Band 2 game, going out to stores currently. It features a clip from the Donington DVD.
The “expansion pack’ is expected now to be a complete gamers version of the DVD.
Harmonix, the manufacturers of Rock Band 2, are yet to confirm the release.
The Rock Band 2 version of Live At Donington version is expected to be released on October 16, just days before ‘Black Ice’ hits stores.
The tracklisting is:
'Thunderstruck'
'Shoot to Thrill'
'Back in Black'
'Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be'
'Heatseeker'
'Fire Your Guns'
'Jailbreak'
'The Jack'
'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap'
'Moneytalks'
'Hells Bells'
'High Voltage'
'Whole Lotta Rosie'
'You Shook Me All Night Long'
'T.N.T.'
'Let There Be Rock'
'Highway To Hell'
'For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)'

I'm really excited about this, it's going to be awesome to "play" my favorite AC/DC songs! I keep hearing different things about the full game vs. expansion pack though. Whatever, they rock! Has anyone seen their display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? I work for Positively Cleveland, and we're getting the word out about the Rock Hall. I highly encourage all music fans (and especially AC/DC fans) to check it out. You can start on our website: http://www.positivelycleveland.com/visiting/things_to_do/cleveland_rocks/rock_hall. Also go to http://www.positivelycleveland.com/intheknow to enter to win passes to the Rock Hall AND a private tour from the curator!
Hope I haven't overstepped my bounds by leaving this comment; just working to let people know about what Cleveland has to offer! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to Email me :)
