THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN has been honored by Kerrang! Magazine for their innovation, inspiration, and longevity outside the mainstream with the "Spirit of Independence" award, presented to the band by ALEXISONFIRE during the recent Kerrang! Awards Ceremony in London. Previous "Spirit of Independence" award winners include TURBONEGRO, PRODIGY, ENTER SHIKARI, and more. #1, apology accepted. But realize, you're allowed to think about DEP what you want to think. I personally think they're the best band still in existence, and I'm not saying that to start an argument. I see that they're quite the acquired taste, but I've been listening to them for at least 6 years, now, and to me one second of any DEP album isn't worth all the Death Magnetics in France.

I forget which Texas guy I argued with about DEP a while back. Texascrawford I think? Anyway I owe him an apology, DEP's version of Hot For Teacher at the last Cavalera Conspiracy concert was so awesome!
